Good vs Bad Graph
I believe that the above image is an example of a good graph. It shows the units for both the x and y axis, it averages the temperatures which makes it more accurate and makes the data less skewed, but it still shows accurate information. The scale of the y axis is good and is not misleading.
I believe that the above image is a bad graph because the graph's unit measurement of the y axis makes it look like there has been no change in the global temperature. It is a misleading graph and it would be a graph used for people to believe that the Earth's temperature has been stable.
Okay Ryann, this is a good start but a bit "bare bones" for this blog post. It is meant to be an analysis of the graphs, so try to go more in depth.
ReplyDelete-Add information about what each graph is trying to show
-Comment on how the data was collected in each case, who created the graph and how reliable they are.
-Add the source for each graph, where you got it from
-Each graph should have a caption labeling it. "Figure 1, Figure 2, etc" This is how you should refer to them in the text (eg. Figure 1 shows change in global temperatures..."
-Also, remove any "I believe" statements, just make the statement.
Ryann, you didn't address my feedback. Please remember to do so in a timely manner in future blog posts so you don't lose any points.
